Internship Program

Our intern program is a multi month non-paying position consisting of various assistant and runner jobs.

Completing an internship at Chapman Recording and Mastering can help you gain a greater understanding of every stage of production and the studio business. It will also help you determine which aspect of pro audio that appeals to you most.

Our internships are a rare opportunity to learn from dedicated professionals so make the most of your time. Go the extra mile and make yourself indispensable. The intern that gets involved and makes a difference is always considered first for any entry level paying position.

A good intern must communicate clearly with others, work quickly under the direction of others, understands the importance of studio etiquette and have a good eye for the details.

We usual run 3 to 4 groups of three to five interns per year so the waiting list can be long and not everyone is accepted. Be professional and avoid calling to check on your status. We are busy so don't become a pest, if we feel you fit our program we will call to set up an interview when a position becomes available.
